The following events have been postponed because of the expected storm:

• The Chili Cook Off to benefit The West Penn Fire Company at the Galen Glen Vineyard & Winery has been postponed to Jan. 25.

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

• “Inspired By Nature,” photos of Carbon County by Lynn Shupp at the Carbon County Environmental Center is being postponed to Feb. 1.

• STEAM Lab at Palmerton Library is canceled. Saturday Story Time has been moved to Jan. 25.

• The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Co. will be using its snow date for the winter carnival, originally planned for Saturday. The event will be held from 4-10 p.m. Sunday.
