In a story that ran in Wednesday's publication of the TIMES NEWS about the Palmerton Area School District Dress Code, a parent who was quoted in the article said she wanted to clarify several things that were incorrectly reported.

Sherry Hoppes said her concern was that the junior high and high school principals were not following the current guidelines in the student handbook. Hoppes also said she believes there are a handful of people in the in-house administration at the two schools, and not on the board, that have an agenda and want to get uniforms.
