Smokey Bear will be at the Locust Lake State Park amphitheater on Sat., Aug. 28.

The program starts at 6:30 p.m.Dave Duffy, the fire chief from New England Fire Company, will give a fire prevention and safety presentation followed by a visit from Smokey Bear.Nate and Brutus, his dogs, will be on hand as he talks about the East Penn Search and Rescue Team.The event is subject to weather conditions.
