A woman was seriously injured Sunday evening when she was involved in an incident while walking the D & L trail.
The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. as she was on the trail, about a mile south of Bowmanstown.
She was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and Lehighton paramedics then flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center in Allentown.
