State police at Schuylkill Haven are looking for a Schuylkill County man wanted in connection with an assault incident and protection from abuse violation.

Troopers said on Aug. 10 Daniel Krammes, 28, of Reilly Township, and a 25-year-old woman from Saint Clair, were at a campsite new Newtown, Reilly Township, when they began to argue over a personal matter.The situation escalated when Krammes attacked the woman inside his vehicle as they were getting ready to leave. Troopers said Krammes struck the woman several times causing her bodily injuries. Krammes then lost consciousness.At this point the woman drove herself and Krammes to the Turkey Hill located at the intersection of routes 209 and 901 in Norwegian Township. She then asked customers in the market to call police. Krammes then became conscious and fled the scene in his vehicle prior to the arrival of troopers.There is an active warrant for Krammes' arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
