The Palmerton Area Historical Society will hold its annual picnic on Aug. 9 at 4 p.m. on the farm of society member Bert Holczman in Andreas.

This event is available to society members and their guests only, and all attendees are asked to bring a covered dish, casserole or dessert.The registration deadline is Monday, Aug. 2.
