@Breif.Head:Ruzicka heading to Moravian College

Thomas Ruzicka, a senior at Lehighton, will be continuing his academic and athletic career this fall at Moravian College.Ruzicka, a four-year football player for the Indians, will play the same sport for the Greyhounds, who went 5-5 this past season.A running back, wide receiver and linebacker for Lehighton, Ruzicka finished his scholastic career with 58 catches for 623 yards and seven touchdowns, 63 carries for 492 yards and 10 TDs, and 276 tackles. He was a team captain, was named First Team Athlete in the league this past season, and won his team's Defensive MVP award.Ruzicka, who also participates in basketball and track and field, will be majoring in Nursing. At Lehighton, he is also involved in FBLA and is a senior class officer.He is the son of Barbara Ruzicka and Michael Fairchild.
