• On Jan. 25, a one-vehicle crash occurred along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, about 11 a.m. Damy Cintron, 21, of Minersville, was driving a 2012 Hyundai Veloster northbound when she lost control on the wet roadway. The vehicle slid off the right side onto the grassy berm, spinning 190-degrees. The vehicle then traveled down the grassy berm, through a ditch and then striking a embankment with its back end. After impact, the vehicle spun an additional 180-degrees and struck the embankment with the front end. Troopers noted the rear tires of the Hyundai were bald and worn down to the cords in spots.

Troopers cited Cintron for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
• A hit-and- run crash was reported at 7 a.m. Monday along Sherwood Drive in Ryan Township. A 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt was struck by another vehicle while legally parked at 10 Sherwood St., Barnesville. After impact the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene. Troopers said physical evidence at the scene indicates the striking vehicle is possibly white and should have navy blue paint transfer somewhere on it.
