A Slatington man has been charged with public drunkenness following an incident that occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14.

Borough police responded to the area of 578 Main St. to a report of an intoxicated male. On scene officers found Troy Park, 41, of 620 W. Franklin St., highly intoxicated. He was then cited.Police also noted that Park was on parole/probation and the Lehigh County Adult Probation Department was notified of the arrest.
