A home was destroyed by fire Thursday night in Monroe County.

The fire was reported by the owners at 10:28 p.m. as being near the fire place.

When firefighters arrived on scene along Westbrook road in Sun Valley Estates they found the two-story wood frame single family dwelling fully involved in flames.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
