The Elks State Hoop Shoot was held on Saturday, March 5 at the Bellefont High School. The Tamaqua Elks Lodge had two representatives among the six-member Northeast District contigent at the championships. In the boys 8-9 year-old division, Cole Dietz (right) made 20 of 25 free throws to finish second in the state. Also representing the area was Emily Lang (left) in the girls 10-11 division.
