Pleasant Valley Elementary School students and staff took visitors Around the World, through artwork and fun facts. The hallways became pathways to rain forests of South America to the pyramids of Egypt to the glaciers of Antarctica. Every continent was represented featuring several countries of each. Creative artwork depicted what the countries are noted for, like this eucalyptus tree of Australia. Aliyah Williams, 6, a PVE kindergartner, and her brother Cameron, 4 1/2 and sister Mya, 14 months old, enjoyed the trip 'down under.' Their mother, Kelly Williams said the event was very nice, very creative and the children enjoyed the scavenger hunt.
