July 8, 1984 - Pat Papay pitches a two-hitter and Scott Hillegass drills a three-run homer to help Palmerton roll to a 13-1 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over South Parkland. Papay strikes out eight batters, and contributes a two-run single in the winning effort. Dave Sayuk and Greg Serfass both finish with three hits for Palmerton, while Jim Nemeth and Rodney Paules end the contest with two. Todd Lichtenwalter also chips in with an RBI single.
