Lehighton's Molly Harleman will continue her academic and volleyball career this fall by attending Misericordia University.
Harleman, the daughter of Coleen and Dale Harleman, has been a member of the Indians' program the last four seasons.The senior was a First Team all-conference player and made the Second Team all-district squad. The middle and outside hitter was named Lehighton's MVP this past season and was also the Mountain Valley Conference's scholar-athlete for her sport."Molly is definitely a strong leader and was one of our captains," said Indian head coach Rachel Quinn. "She played the part of a role model to the younger girls and was involved in a lot of activities while still maintaining her academics. She will be missed but should be a real asset to Misericordia."Harleman is involved in numerous activities including Student Council, National Honor Society, Red Cross Club, Top 10 %, Tutoring at SS Peter and Paul and Big Sister Program. Harleman was also a member of the track team her freshman and sophomore years.
