Lehighton High School senior Elise Johnston signed with King's College to play Field Hockey earlier this week. Johnston spent three years on the Indians' field hockey team, playing both midfield and defense. She was the team's MVP, Defensive MVP, and Scholar Athlete.

Johnston was also a member of the varsity tennis team for three years. She serves as the President of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Student Council. Elise is the daughter of Paul Johnston and Melissa Blocker.
