The Sherman Theater’s second event in its new Kids’ Series is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Sherman Showcase, 522 Main St. in Stroudsburg. This six-part series features singer/songwriters and storytellers from across the country offering family-friendly entertainment.

On Saturday, storyteller Larry Sceurman brings heartfelt stories and magical tales to Pocono children. He will spin a variety of folk tales, fairy tales, moral tales and personal stories appropriate for all children.

As part of the Fine Arts Discovery Series of the Sherman Theater, this show is open to the public at no charge, however donations will be accepted. The Kids’ Series was developed to provide an opportunity for children in the community to enjoy arts and culture.
