They were married April 20, 1985.Robert VanNorman, 113 Zeigler Road, Lehighton, was granted a divorce from Stefanie VanNorman, Frackville. They were married Oct. 5, 2002.Theodore A. Kemmerling II, Pine Grove, was granted a divorce from Nichole Renee Kemmerling, Tremont. They were married Sept. 15, 2001.Michael Kull, Mount Carbon, was granted a divorce from Jennfer Kull, Frackville. They were married June 30, 2006.Pedestrian suesJohn P. and Barbara Belsak, Reeser Street, New Ringgold, filed a civil suit against Raymond Kleckner, Wetherill Street, New Ringgold, for injuries John Belsak suffered when allegedly struck by a vehicle operated by Kleckner while he was clearing tree branches around his property which were knocked down by a rain storm.The suit states the bumper of Kleckners car struck Belsak and threw him into bushes besides the roadway and he suffered injuries. John Belsak is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for his injuries and his wife $50,000 for loss of consortium. Kleckner's response to the suit was he never intended to strike the pedestrian.Credit defaultsAdvantage Assets Inc., Houston, Tex., filed suit seeking a lien on Ennis E.. Murhon, 41 Clay Street, New Philadelphia, claiming he owes $2,578.80 on his credit card.Chase Bank, San Antonio Tex., brought suit against Pamela E. Mikruk, 629 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, claiming she owes a balance of $8,400.79 on her credit card.American Credit Collections, LLC, Taylor, Lackawanna County, filed suit against Deborah Audakimow, Delano, alleging a balance of $16,063.74 is owed on her credit card.LUNV Funding, LLC, Greenville, S.C., filed suit against Gene M. Slavinsky, 408 W. Centre St., Mahanoy City, alleging he owes an unpaid balance of $3,999.90 on his credit card.Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC, Norfolk, Va., filed suit against Lori Otto, 513 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, alleging she owes an unpaid balance of $1,993.46 on her credit card.Livingston Financial, LLC, Malvern, Chester County, filed suit against Frederick J. Burinsky, 71 Washington St., Middleport, alleging he owes a balance of $2,003.98 on his credit card.Mortgage foreclosureBAC Home Loan Servicing, Philadelphia, filed suit against Mary Ann Hartranft, 34 N. Greenwood St., Tamaqua, claiming she defaulted on her mortgage payments and owes $84,218.65. The bank seeks to foreclose.New Tripoli Bank filed suit against Eleanora Picone alleging she defaulted on mortgage payments on her property at 193-194 Overlook Road, Tamaqua, and is seeking a judgement and foreclosure. The judgment is for $187,381.43.Liens on propertiesThe Tamaqua Area School District filed a petition to court to place a lien in amount of $986.22 on the property at 210 Washington St., Tamaqua, alleged owned by All About Homes Inc., of 492 Blue Mountain Road, New Ringgold.The school district is also placing a lien in amount of $2,016.18 on the property at 241 Andreas Road, West Penn Township, alleged owned by Gregory F. Duschak and William Teel, both of 390 Forest Inn Road, Lehighton.Draws 30 daysJennifer Anne Mock, 37, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve 30 days to six months in the county prison beginning Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. She also must pay a fine of $200 and court costs, pay $300 to the Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, a $50 monthy supervision fee, successfully complete the alcohol highway safe driving school and perform 50 hours of community service.She also must make restitution of $38,908.51 to GAB Robbins, owners of building; $1,000 to Monica Rulavage, instructor; $13,438.71, to Capitol Insurance, $5,2143.11 to Ashley Merchlinsky, who operated the day care center.Mock's vehicle struck another vehicle on Wood Street, Port Carbon, on Nov. 27, 2009, and then careened into the builiding housing the Little Sunshine Day Care Center in which pre-school youngsters were inside but no children were injured.On a charge of recklessly endangering another person she has to serve an additional 23 months on probation. She is also permitted to participate in a work releases schedule. Mock is a single parents who supports a daughter.High restitutionMichelle Ann Connors, 38,Girardville, who pleaded guilty to theft of money she obtained as a power of attorney for an elderly woman, must make restitution of $163,358.93 as ordered by Judge Jacqueline Russell after she pleaded guilty to charges of theft by unlawful takinng.She had the power of attorney for Mary O'Connell, Shenandoah, whom she befriended while working in an area nursing home. She was also sentenced to serve 12 to 60 months in a state correctional institution and when released on parole to perform 100 hours of community service.One month in prisonCassandra Lee Banicky, 38, Plains, Luzerne County, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy and theft and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve one to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving three days, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee and court costs. She also must make restitution of $201.40 to the district attorney office.Banicky was cited by Patrolman Corey Herring, Rush Township police, last Jan. 23 of taking a wallet belonging to Charles T. Cowan at the Walmart Store. The wallet was later recovered off a roadway about a half mile from the store.Revoke probationsChristopher Michael Cataldi, 22, Saint Clair, was removed by President Judge William E. Baldwin from the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program for violating terms set by the court and now faces trial on charges of simple assault. The program is for first offenders to serve 12 months probation and then their criminal record is cleared. If Cataldi is now found guilty by a jury, or enters a guilty plea, the blotch remains on his record.Sean Michael Mulligan, 35, Bloomsburg, was removed by Baldwin from the Intermediate Punishment Probation Program (IPP) and was re-sentenced to serve 105 days to five years in the county prison with credit for having served 71 days. He had pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and was placed in the program in May 2009. He was cited by Trooper Joseph Aponick when stopped in the Cove Village Development in North Union Township in July 2008.Justin R. Underkoffler, 22, Tower City, had his probation revoked by Judge D. Michael Stine and he was re-sentenced on a charge of recklessly endangering another person to serve four to 12 months in the county prison. He received credit for spending 84 days in the county prison and six days in a rehab center. He had pleaded guilty to the charge last December and was placed on probation.
