Elin Hilderbrand, the queen of the summer beach read, has won over a new season with her “Winter Street Series,” four novels that celebrate the fictional Quinns of her beloved Nantucket, and their Winter Street Inn.
Hilderbrand will be at the Moravian Book Shop, 428 Main St. in Bethlehem at 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a free “after hours” event. Wine and light fare will be provided. Only books purchased through the book shop will be autographed. RSVP to 610-866-5481.
Through the years, the Winter Street Inn has seen it all: new loves, old jealousies, a wedding that almost got snowed out by the storm of the century, even an ill-fated affair. The one constant is the people who call the inn home — the Quinn family — and the love they share for one another (despite what they sometimes say in the heat of the moment).
The Winter Street series is a celebration of everything we love — and some of the things we endure — about the holidays. “Winter Solstice” is Elin Hilderbrand at her festive best.
