Pleasant Valley's Ben Bard will continue his academic and athletic career at Dvision III Misericordia University. Bard will play football at Misericrodia.

Bard was a three-year member of the Bears' varsity, playing linebacker and tight end. He was Pleasant Valley's football scholar-athlete, was a National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame member, and was selected to play in the McDonald's All-Star Classic.In addition to football, Bard was a member of the Pleasant Valley track and field team where he threw the shot put, javelin and discus.Bard will major in business at Misericordia. He is the son of Marvin and Barbara Bard.
