August 28, 1951 - Lehighton catcher Paul Leslie helps the East squad rally to tie the game before winning in extra innings, 5-4, at the Junior Legion All-Star game in St. Marys, Pa. With his team trailing by a run in the ninth inning, Leslie singles and steals second. He reaches third on a passed ball and scores on a ground out to knot the score. Leslie was accompanied on the trip to Elk County by Lehighton manager "Moose" Kunkle.
