Jim Thorpe police are investigating a theft from a vehicle incident.

Police said on April 1 they received a report from a resident along the 400 block of South Ave., that his GMC Sierra truck had been entered and a Kenwood compact disc face plate was stolen from the front dash and some loose change was taken. The stereo is valued at $300.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 325-4995.
