Tamaqua Police Officer Matthew Houser recently paid a visit to Wendy Lesniak's day care on Orwigsburg Street in Tamaqua. Houser is Lesniak's nephew. She asked him to visit in uniform on his day off for a "play date" with the children in her care. The purpose of the visit was to reinforce the idea that police officers are children's friends, and not someone to be feared. With Officer Houser are Matthew Matukonis, Kassidy Kuhn and Ethan Bennett.
