Celebrate Women’s History Month, the arrival of spring and a convening of women on March 24 at the Allentown Art Museum for “Woman to Woman,” a symposium, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Musician and performer Martha Redbone will touch your soul with her own unique blend of Native American elements, funk and her deep roots in Appalachian folk and Peidmont blues. Be inspired by photographer Phyllis Galembo’s stories about the Caribbean and Africa, and Nicole Valentine’s powerfully creative and entrepreneurial ventures.
Visit the museum to network and learn about opportunities and women-run organizations in the Lehigh Valley, take a tour of the Women of Vision exhibit, have a professional headshot taken by an up and coming female photographer and be inspired by one of the diverse and innovative speakers.
Admission is free with registration.
