State police at Lehighton reported on a burglary and theft incidents probed by troopers in recent days.

The break-in occurred at a residence along Middle Creek Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County. Entry was gained by smashing a rear window. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 19 and 23. The property is owned by Edith Marie Bullwinkel, 72, of Eatontown, N.J.Dung Viet Dao, 20, of Philadelphia, reported someone removed the license plate from his car while parked on the lower lot of the Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The theft occurred sometime between 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22. The plate registration is HKE3132.April D. Reppert, 39, of Allentown, reported someone removed her purse from a bar stool at the Rausch Haus, located along Forest Inn Road, in Lower Towamensing Township. The purse contained credit cards, which were canceled by the victim. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23.John Michael Dooley, 46, of 1770 Lower Smith Gap Road, in Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, reported a two by three-foot aluminum sign that read "3D House Remodeling" was removed from the front yard of his home. Persons in a white sports utility vehicle arrived at the area about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, and removed the sign. The sign is valued at about $400.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
