Carbon driver facing DUI

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred on May 14.

Summit Hill police said officers stopped a vehicle at 2:35 a.m. when they observed it being driven along Route 902 without the headlights being illuminated. The driver was identified as Paul J. Yurick, 36, of Summit Hill.

Officers detected the odor of an alcohol beverage coming from Yurick’s person. He submitted to a blood draw. The results of the test revealed a 0.27 BAC.
