Lansford girl named Miss Amazing

Reilly Bauer of Lansford participated and won her division at the Pennsylvania Miss Amazing pageant on March 23 in Emmaus. Reilly is 15 and in the ninth grade. She’s active in community theater, singing and dance.

She was diagnosed with autism at age 4. Miss Amazing gives girls and women with physical and other handicaps the opportunity to shine and build self-confidence. This was Pennsylvania’s fourth year hosting a state pageant. Now the winners of their divisions, including Reilly, will be traveling to Chicago in August to compete on the national level. Reilly will be busy fundraising for the next few months to offset costs. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
