About 75 people attended the 47th annual banquet of the Vietnam Last Man's Club last month at the Lehighton American Legion Post.
Officers are Dale Nansteel, president; Glenn Troutman, vice president; Manny Muniz, secretary-treasurer; John Stefanik, chaplain; and Mitchell Nace, sergeant-at-arms.The club remembered five individuals killed in action during the war in Vietnam. They are Ronald S.H. Christman, Clyde R. Houser Jr., Leon D. Eckhart, Charles R. Jones and Merlin Hollenbach.The guest speaker was state Rep. Doyle Heffley, who spoke about the sacrifices of America's military members, including those who served in Vietnam.
