The Lehighton Area High School Class of 1973 held its 45-year class reunion on June 23 at the Mahoning Valley Country Club. There were 54 people in attendance including 36 class members. Stevie-Ray Entertainment of Lehighton played the Top 40 hits from their high school years. Centerpieces included the class flowers: red, white and peppermint carnations. The Rev. Thomas J. Kuller, a facilities director at the Jesuit Center in Wernersville, gave the opening remarks and invocation. Each decedent’s name from the class was read aloud and remembered during a moment of silence. Reunion committee members are Cindy Mertz-Lafaw, Linda Kresge-Hunsicker, Beth Franks, Ruth Franks-Bush, Lori Everett and William Musselman.
