The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a flash flood watch from 2  this afternoon through this evening

Showers and thunderstorms will move into eastern Pennsylvania

and much of New Jersey this afternoon and through this evening.

Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rainfall, and training of thunderstorms is also possible. Total rain amounts will range

from 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts possible.

Damaging winds and large hail are possible.

Today: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Patchy fog before 10am. High near 79. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Patchy fog after 1am. Low around 58. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
