Ryan Oravec, son of Tim and Sharon Oravec of Andreas, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Bloomsburg University with a 4.0 GPA.

He is a sophomore, dual majoring in mathematics and computer science.A 2009 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Oravec is also the grandson of Betty and George Vincent of Coaldale; and Ethel Oravec of Andreas and the late Frank Oravec.
