Pleasant Valley graduate Luke Valdevit recently qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) indoor track and field championships at the Fasttrack National Invitationals.

Valdevit, a sophomore at East Stroudsburg University, set a PR in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:04.23.

The former Bear also took second place in the mile at ESU’s quad meet against West Chester, Kutztown and Bloomsburg. Valdevit crossed the finish line in 4:35.32.

At the Dick DeSchriver Invitational, Valdevit captured third in the 1000 with a PR time of 2:44.54.
