State police at Lehighton reported on two acts of criminal mischief.

Troopers said unknown persons smashed the rear window of the vehicle of Dale Morris, 52, of Long Mountain Rd., in Effort, Polk Township, Monroe County, while parked near the residence. The incident occurred overnight of Oct. 31 to Nov. 1.Curt A. Vassallo, 55, of 635 Hazlewood Rd., Palmerton, Towamensing Township, reported someone damaged and removed his mailbox from its post sometime between 8 p.m. Nov. 5 and noon on Nov. 6.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
