Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) held an initiation ceremony of the International Educational Honors Society, Kappa Delta Pi on Thursday, October 29 in the Community Room of the Fowler Wing on the main campus in Schnecksville. The evening's events for the new members began with a buffet dinner provided by The Boulevard Family Restaurant in Lehighton.
The Society inducts only those individuals who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.LCCC is the first community college in Pennsylvania to have a Kappa Delta Pi installation.The new members for Fall 2009 are: Melina P.
