It is wonderful to see that the Vietnam veterans are finally being honored for their service and sacrifice. The Moving Wall is truly moving. As a veteran myself I appreciate these efforts. America has and does fight many enemies, and it is our armed forces who give the ultimate sacrifice.

But today our most pernicious and dangerous enemy resides within our own borders. That enemy is apathy to those forces which endeavor to destroy our Constitution. Our Constitution is the one and only thing that preserves our way of life. It is an incredible document crafted by the geniuses of the time. Unsurpassed by any other document in its efforts to create and preserve a fair and equitable government. It is under attack by those forces who wish to destroy America, and due to a general lack of understanding and sense of apathy, our way of life stands on the brink of destruction. Not from ISIS. Not from terrorists, but from apathy.As a veteran and proud U.S. citizen, I implore those who wish to remain in the land of the free to take action. Educate yourself and your children about the importance of our Constitution and actively endeavor to elect those who would preserve it rather than weaken and destroy it for their own selfish gain. Let us, we the people, of this still great democratic republic stand firm and stand proud, and discharge our own duties as citizens.
