Northern Valley’s senior legion team and Connie Mack squad both registered wins on Friday.

A solid pitching performance from Luke Eitner allowed Northern Valley to earn a 6-2 victory over Allentown.

Eitner went the distance, allowing two walks and seven hits while striking out 11. He tossed six scoreless innings before losing his shutout bid in the seventh.

The Chargers (1-2) received two hits, two runs and an RBI from Colten Hagadus, while Justin Holmes added a hit, a pair of runs and two RBIs. Zach Silfies and Aaron Rudolph both chipped in with a hit and a run.

Josh Kistler had three hits and knocked in five runs to help power Northern Valley to a 14-9 victory over Easton.

Ryan Hammond added four hits, two runs and an RBI as the Chargers pounded out 16 hits.

The winners also received two hits, two runs and an RBI from both Cole Hausman and Tanner Romig, while Randy Bongiorno added two hits and a run.

Zachary Chamberlain, who had a hit and scored two runs, was the game’s winning pitcher. Chamberlain struck out eight in four innings of work.
