The theft of $785 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from a residence/thrift shop in Girardville is being investigated by state police at the Frackville barracks.

The incident happened between 6 p.m. Dec. 20 and 8 a.m. Dec. 21 at 144 W. Main St.The victim is Paul Kanigoski, 65.No details of the incident were reported by police except to say someone took the tickets from the residence/thrift shop.
