CTC Manufacturing names Mahinis president/CEO
CTC Manufacturing Inc. has announced the appointment of John Mahinis, Ph.D., MBA as its new president/CEO. Mahinis succeeded Devon Nicoletti.
He served in the intelligence branch of the United States Army. He retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel and has several years of clinical experience, working as a clinical therapist, clinical supervisor and clinical director for a variety of organizations throughout, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
He has written several articles in the field of psychotherapy. His recent business experiences include the position of president of a power equipment company in Mercer County, managing director of a defense contracting electrical construction firm in eastern Africa, and heading up a shipchandling company who was a food prime vendor to the United States Navy, also located in eastern Africa.

CTC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing job training and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities who want to work. CTC employs an integrated workforce of people with disabilities as well as nondisabled workers.
CTC, which specializes in assembly, packaging, re-packs, apparel sales, apparel detailing and commercial sewing, is an outsource resource for area customers.
Assembly, inspection, packing or re-packing is completed to customer specifications at CTC business centers.
CTC offers a complete line of apparel, customized for its clients in its screen printing and embroidery departments.
CTC has an experienced sewing department producing “Made in the USA” products.
In 2018 CTC celebrated its 48th anniversary by opening a second business center in the Valmont Industrial Park in West Hazelton. The Valmont site doubles production capacity and is conveniently located near Interstates 80 and 81.
Major clients include some of the top companies in the area including Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., and the Weiler Corporation.
