Concourse Club
The Palmerton Concourse Club will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Lutheran Parish Hall of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Come spooky and enjoy "Ghost Reader" program. The Concourse Club is a community organization always giving back and helping others. The program will be: MI Alert & Teleburn, with speaker Deb Neff, RN.Knitting ClubThe Knitting Club will meet from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at the Palmerton Area Library. The club is free for all area residents interested in knitting, seeing what's new in the craft and sharing stories. Ideas will be discussed about knitting for various charities. New members are always welcome.Palmerton LibraryStory hours are continuing at the Palmerton Area Library at 10:30 a.m. on Friday mornings. The program for all preschoolers is free and open to the public. The story hours will continue throughout the school year.Tail Waggin' Tutors, children reading to dogs sponsored by Therapy Dogs International, Inc., will be at the library every month on the second Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. until noon.
