A Lansford man was one of 16 people who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges in Schuylkill County court and they were sentenced by Judge Jacqueline Russell as follows:

Seth Joshua Reinhart, 30, of 220 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and drugs was sentenced to serve 30 days in the county prison beginning Nov. 1, at 9 a.m., followed by four years and 11 months on probation in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), pay costs of prosecution, a fine of $1,500, $100 to the Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $100 to the Catastrophe fund, perform 20 hours of community service, make restitution of $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center, $12,141 to Erie Insurance Company and $200 to Gallas Wukitsch. His driver's license was suspended 18 months and he must undergo mental health evaluation. Reinhart was cited by Sgt. Keith Krapf, Coaldale police.Trola Moore II, 30, Pottsville, was sentenced on charges terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person to serve three to six years in a state correctional institution with credit for having served 91 days in the county prison, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and make restitution of $2,664.59 to the victim, William Hooven, whom he assault at the Pine View Acres parking lot in Norwegian Township.He also pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and received a sentence of three to six years to run concurrent, pay $50 to the CJEA fund, $100 to SAE fund, $50 to district attorney's office for a bench warrant and restitution of $113 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab and $98 to the Pottsvilel Drug Task Force.Eric Allen Wingard, 31, Pottsville, on a DUI charge was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, pay a fine of $1,000, pay $50 to CJEA fund, pay $300 to SAE fund, perform 20 hours of community service and make restitution of $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center. His driver's license is suspended 12 months. Wingard was cited by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police. He previously had been placed in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program which was revoked. Had he completed the program of 12 months probation he could have cleared his name.On a second DUI count brought by Patrolman Kenneth Jacoby, Schuylkill Haven police, he was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 33 days spent in the county prison which began Friday, Oct. 23, followed by four years and 11 months on probation, fined $1,500, pay $300 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fuynd, perform an additional 20 hours community service and license suspended 18 months. The sentence is concurrent to the first DUI sentence.Joshua R. Allen, 21, Halifax, on two counts of receiving stolen property, two ATV's taken from a garage in Mahanoy City, was placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 40 hours of community service and make restitution of $1,300 to Edward Minarchick and $3,962.43 to Edward Isgate, owners of the vehicles and $200 to Mahanoy City Police DepartmentRonald L. Bowen, 21, Shenandoan, on a charge of corruption of minors was placed on probation for 23 months, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and perform 20 hours of community service. He was cited by Patrolman Gary Koppel, Shenandoah police.Norma Jean Linkchorst, 35, Schuylkill Haven, on a charge of criminal conspiracy to obtain a cell phone under a false name, identity theft and theft of services, was placed on probation for 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours of community service and make restitution of $455.86 to Katrina Ernst, the victim. She was cited by Patrolman Kirk Becker, Pottsville police.Ronald Melvin Morgenstern, 39, Shamokin, on a DUI charge was sentenced to serve 30 days to six months in the county prison, pay a fine of $1,000, pay $50 to CJEA fund, $300 to SAE fund, perform 20 hours community service, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and license suspended 121 months and undergo mental health evaluation. On a charge of disregarding a traffic lane was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Morgenstern was cited by Trooper Michael Allar when stopped on Interstate 81 in Pine Grove Township.Craig Lamar Romberger, 43, Tremont, on a charge of fleeing police was sentenced to 12 months on probatioin, fined $500, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and perform 20 hours of community service. On a charge of driving while his operating privileges were suspended was fined $200 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Trooper Edward Lizewski when stopped on SR443 in PIne Grove Township.Gregory Joseph Rudis Jr., 32, Scranton, on a charge of DUI was placed on probation six months, pay a fine of $300, pay $50 to the CJEA fund, $100 to SAE fund, enroll in the alcohol highway safety school and undergo outpatient substance abuse counseling and perform 20 hours of community service. On the charge of failing to drive at a safe speed was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Rudis was cited by Trooper Scott Grochowski when stopped on SR339 in Mahanoy Township.Willie Abner Velazquez, 32, Shenandoah, on a charge of DUI was given credit for having served 67 days in the county prison and released on probation for 12 months, pay a fine of $750, pay $50 to CJEA fund, $100 to SAE fund, perform 20 hours community service and driver's license suspended 12 months.On a charge of driving while his license was suspended was fined $200 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Chief Matthew Nestor, Shenandoah police. He was also cited by Chief Nestor on another incident and on a charge of recklessly endangering another person was placed on probation 12 months to run concurrent with the other sentence, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and perform 20 hours of additional community service and make restitution of $50 to district attorney's office for a bench warrant. On a charge of striking a parked vehicle was fined $300 plus $50 costs and reckless driving, fined $200 plus $50 costs.Charles L. Walerski Jr., 36, Lebanon, on a DUI charge was sentenced to serve 48 hours to six months in the county prison which began Sunday at 10 a.m., pay a fine of $500, pay $50 to CJEA fund, pay $100 to SAE fund, perform 20 hours of community service and driver's license suspended 12 months. He wa cited by Patrolman Duane Frederick, Rush Township police, when stopped in Quakake.Vincent Joseph Zalonka, 43, Orwigsburg, on a DUI charge was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison beginning Friday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m., pay a fine of $1,000, pay $50 to CJEA fund, $300 to SAE fund, perform 20 houirs of community service and enroll in alcohol highway safety school and undego intensive outpatient counseling. His driver' s license is suspended 12 months.Jason Lee Markowicz, Orwigsburg, on a DUI charge placed in the IPP for five years with the first 30 days to be served in the county prison beginning Nov. 1 at 9 a.m followed by four years and 11 months on probation, fined $1,500, per $300 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, perform 20 hours community service and driver's license suspended 18 months. On a charge of obscuring the license plate on his car was fined $25 plus $50 fine. He was cited by Patrolman Scott Davis, Orwigsburg police.Michael A. Slotcavage, 45, Ringtown, on a charge of harassment of a person in the parking lot at Boyer's Supermarket, Frackville, was fined $25 plus costs.Ashley L. Kline, 24, Valley View, on two DUI charges was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 10 days spent in the county prison beginning Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. followed by five months and 20 days on probation, pay fines totaling $1,250, pay $200 to SAE fund, $150 to Catastrophe fund, restitution of $120 to Schuylkill Medical Center and driver's license suspended 12 months. On charge of failing to drive on right side of road fined $25 plus $50 costs. He was first cited by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police, and the second time by Patrolman Brandon T. Woll, Blythe Township police,Janice Michelle Whitaker, 42, Pottsville, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months on probation, fined $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, perform 20 hours community service, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Lab and driver's license suspended 12 months. She was cited by Troopoer Michael Van Buskirt when stopped in Pottsville.All defendants must pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
