Jewelry and credit cards were reported stolen during a burglary in Mahoning Township on Monday.
Chief of Police Ken Barnes said a resident of the 300 block of Oak Drive reported to police that sometime during the day forcible entry was made to the home via kicking in the front door.A jewelry box containing assorted jewelry and a purse containing various credit cards were stolen. The victim is compiling a list of all items stolen in the burglary.Anyone having information is urged to call police (570) 386-2241 or call the Carbon County Communications Center at (570) 325-9111 and they will relay the information to a Mahoning police.
