The Township of Walker has been joined by the County of Schuylkill as an additional defendant in a suit brought by homeowners in the Camp Wildcat section of the township who are asking for certain improvements to be made as allegedly required under the county subdivision regulation.

The suit was brought against trustees of the estate of the late Alvin G. Binkley, who was the developer, and also named the county as a defendant, It claims the county failed to require Binkley to post security to complete the improvements in the development.

Among the plaintiffs’ contentions is that the water supply in the development is inadequate and its quality is below standard.
