The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program has announced the following classes in November at the Carbon County Emergency Management Agency. Classes run 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The dates are Nov. 2, 9, 16.The CERT program is designed to introduce county residents to introductory courses in basic first aid, triage, disaster preparedness, fire suppression, light search and rescue, and terrorism awareness. Neighbors helping neighbors is the program's goal.In the event of a disaster, as a CERT member you would be recognized as a volunteer under the direction of the EMC.For more information about the CERT program or to sign up, call the Carbon County EMA at (570) 325-3097.
