Palmerton Police have served notice that vehicles must be removed from all posted streets during the borough's Halloween Parade on Sunday.

All vehicles must be removed from all posted streets of the parade route. Violators will be subjected to a fine, and vehicles will be removed from the street at their own expense.The police will start to ticket and remove vehicles at around 2 p.m. All vehicles on Mauch Chunk Road and Delaware Avenue must be removed by that time, police said.The parade will form at 2:30 p.m. There will be no parking along the parade route in the 600 and 700 block of Franklin Ave., and from Seventh Street from Delaware to Franklin Ave.The parade will start at 4 p.m. at Seventh Street and Delaware Avenue, where it will make a right onto Third Street. From there, it will turn left onto Franklin Avenue, and continue onto Mauch Chunk Road to Walnut Street in the area of the car wash, where it will disband.The rain date is 7 p.m. Monday, October 19.
