Miller Bloodmobile results

Miller-Keystone Blood Center's community visit to the First United Church of Christ on Thursday, Oct. 1, resulted in 70 potential donors registering, with 62 units collected.The following donors reached or passed these levels: George Ashman, 24 gallons; Helen Nonnemaker, 17 gallons; Lori Snyder, 12 gallons; Dorothy Sheckler, 10 gallons; Richard Bobal, 5 gallons; Alan Scott, 4 gallons; Betty Hahn and Arnold Rex, 2 gallons; Cynthia Frendt, Mildred Kistler, Ricky Kistler, Elizabeth Perschy, and Sharon Rex, 1 gallon. There were 6 first-time donors registeredMany other volunteers worked "behind the scenes" or at the bloodmobile including: Gwen Rodrigues, George Ashman, Harry Brown, Bill Hayes, and CLIU students Sarah Everett and Chris Tomsic; Nancy Thomas; Jean Behler; Perma Snyder; Marilyn Ord; Helen Steinmetz; Pam Andrews; Mary Beth Beers; Romaine Biege; Jane Cervenak; "Honey" Cyr; Diane Danielson; Katherine Ely; Thomasine Falcone; Linda Finley; Jean Fritzinger; Shirley Greene, Jean Halmi; Anita Harry; Betty Hartman; Cindy Heimbach; Marian Hoffner; Bernice Kleintop; Nancy Kresge; Paula Lendvay; Helen Nonnemaker; Chris and Susan Olivia; Evelyn Plechavy; Marge Porambo; Terri Sebelin; Betty Steigerwalt; Kathy Steigerwalt; Anna Marie Stemler; Mary Taschler; Mary Tobia; Brenda Wentz; Annette Wargo; and Tara Wargo.The next community Miller-Keystone bloodmobile will be on Wednesday, Dec. 9. There will also be an M-K bloodmobile at Palmerton Area High School on Thursday, Dec. 3, primarily for students and staff.
