A Monroe County teen is facing charges of simple assault and harassment following an incident on Sept. 26 about 1:10 a.m.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to 1941 Hamlet Drive, Tobyhanna, to a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers were told by Janice Cello, 48, that her son, Anthony J. Cello, 18, had assaulted his sister and girlfriend. The sister was observed to have bruises on her but the girlfriend, Brieanna Golden, 19, appeared unharmed, police said.Cello was taken into custody and charged, police said.
