Library food collectionThe Panther Valley Public Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., will be collecting nonperishable food items during the month of November. Items collected will be donated to the local Shepherd House Food Pantry to help families in need. Food items may be placed in the collection bin in the library.Senior Center scheduleThe Panther Valley Senior Center, 90 E. The center is open and will do the Penny Game.Monday, Nov. 11 The center is closed in observance of Veterans Day.Tuesday, Nov. 12 Mt. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship. This will be a spiritual, peaceful, evening service with Holy Communion. All are welcome to this relaxed, brief, musical, evening prayer.
