A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident about 9:13 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, along McIlhaney Road, at Greenview Drive, in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Derek Eugene Nesbitt, 47, of Saylorsburg, was stopped at the above stated location for traffic violation. He submitted to a blood test at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
