Blue Mountain Health System Women's Cancer Support Group will gather at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Zion

U.C.C., Second and Iron streets, Lehighton. This is a change of meeting place for October.In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the congregational pastor, Rev. Allen Heckman, will lead a Service of Healing in the tradition of St. James.There are many difficulties people face after being diagnosed with cancer. This service provides an opportunity to pray for healing from the burdens: whether they are physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, among believers. When burdens are brought into the light, they lose their hold on us, and our confessions become the instruments of God's healing peace in our lives.Women facing issues with cancer are invited to attend.
