Police said he was driving a 2006 Ford Mustang GT westbound behind a 2006 Ford F250 pickup truck driven by Gary P. Fania, 63, of Kunkletown. The latter was making a lawful left turn onto Queens Way when the truck was struck in the rear by the Mustang, which continued to travel west, striking a Blue Ridge utility pole. The impact caused wires to fall onto the roadway, police said.Police said Lawson fled the scene on foot but was identified. It was not known if he sustained any injuries in the crash. Fania was uninjured.
