Police said Kristen P. Meek, the driver, refused treatment from the West End Ambulance after the crash.Police said she was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty south on Silver Springs Boulevard when she lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid an animal in the roadway. The Jeep traveled from the southbound lane across the northbound lane and struck an embankment with the driver's side front end. The vehicle then rolled onto its passenger's side and slid onto the roadway where it came to a final rest.The vehicle was towed from the scene. The Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company also responded.
